VVA Chapter 227
was formed July 24, 1985 and incorporated as
a non-profit organization in the Commonwealth
of Virginia in January, 1986. We welcome all
Vietnam-era veterans to join us. Others, such
as Red Cross workers or civilians who served
In Vietnam, as well as friends and relatives
are eligible to join the Associates of Vietnam
Veterans of America (AVVA).
VVA'S Founding Principle:
" Never again will one generation of
veterans abandon another."
